Our Story

Andy and Mindy grew up in Montana and Colstrip was never in their future plans. Both of them had always been willing to try anything once, and so they moved their family to Colstrip in 2011. Colstrip surprised them. This tiny town with movie-like small town qualities is irresistible. From the post office where you are guaranteed to run into a friendly face to the local gym that is way too awesome to be hidden in an out-of-the-way town. Andy and Mindy feel privileged to call themselves Colstripians.

After living in Colstrip for a few years they decided to open a Bed and Breakfast. Why not? The idea sounded appealing and they were both excited about giving it a go. Castle Rock B&B was born in 2014 and Andy and Mindy discovered that they were right where they were meant to be. Feeding people, spoiling them with complimentary beer, soda, and wine, and filling the rooms with comfy amenities like bamboo sheets and fluffy towels satisfies their souls!

If you ask them what the best part of owning a B&B is they will surely tell you, it’s you! That’s right, meeting people from all over the world and hearing their stories, is a dream come true for both of them.
